Moxy Portland Downtown

I stayed here for one night the parking is what you'd expect for being in downtown the rooms are modern touch and yes the noise canceling speakers are pretty cool this place is also pretty hopping at night with a bar downstairs they give you a free drink coupon...plus you can use it on a non alcoholic drink.

What a fun hotel! I came to Portland to visit family and although I stay at a lot of Marriott hotels, I’d never stayed at a Moxy before. How have I never stayed here before? This place is great! You check in at the bar, the lobby has tons of comfy seating and a roaring fire to offset the Portland rain, and the rooms - though compact - are comfortable and well-appointed. At the bar, Duncan served me the best cocktail I’ve had in quite some time (a Passion Fruit Lemon Drop - try it and thank me later). Every employee I encountered went above and beyond to make my stay fun and memorable. I’ll be back to stay here again!

What a fun hotel! We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean! A bit small, but perfect for what we needed. Loved that they had three food options right in the lobby, plus a bar and a cozy lounge area with board games. Such a great vibe overall!

I had a fantastic time staying here and chatting with the employees! They genuinely made my stay better in every way. I was by myself and they truly took after me, I’m glad I chose to stay here. Would definitely stay again. And love the aesthetic!

Came on a solo trip as a female. I used the parking lot next to the hotel which is 35 a night and worker warned me that two car windows were broken into that morning. So if you use that parking take everything out. Thankfully nothing happened the nights I stayed. Hotel was cute and staff were friendly. My room was clean and had decent view. The only problem I encountered is the thin walls. I heard non stop inappropriate sounds each night and morning. It was very disturbing and had to study for an exam. Location is good for trying different restaurants and getting something quick. The hotel gives you a ticket for a free drink and I felt safe going to the hotel bar. Overall without the parking situation and thin walls I would give it a 7/10.

I have found my staycation hotel. The staff, Jake, Samantha, Shelby, Erron … Fantastic Every employee I came in contact with was super friendly and helpful. They seemed to like working there. The vibe in the lobby is a mood. Fun! Check in is at the bar, okay:). Free drink ticket is an added bonus. Some weekends there is a DJ. The room is perfect for a solo traveler and I am sure 2 people would be comfortable. The location is so convenient for walking everywhere. Just a great place to stay. Marriott is doing good here. I had no idea it was a M when I booked. I just liked the price and pictures:) Thanks and see you soon, Karen Portland

I had such a great stay at the Moxy! The location is absolutely perfect & close to everything. Always such a fun vibe in the lobby. My room was spotless, & so comfy. The FD staff was able to accommodate my last min late check out request & that made my entire day. The bar staff deserves a huge shoutout, every bartender I met was friendly, amazing cocktails, good vibes all around! I especially want to thank Mark, who was in training during my stay. You’d never know he was new - he was so confident, warm, and genuinely helpful. He gave me amazing local recommendations and went out of his way to make sure I had a great experience. The property is truly lucky to have him! Will def be back, thanks y'all!

Greyson with the front desk team truly deserves a raise! He goes above and beyond his job description and it truly exemplifies the values that marriott hotels represent. Regardless of the location it’s employees like that that make you want to return. Please give him all the praise. He deserves nothing less.
